Ballads Level Membership $45 - Join now.
With this annual membership you will receive two complimentary tickets to any SJS sponsored public concert.

Bebop Level Membership $100- Join now.
With this annual membership you will receive two complimentary tickets to any SJS sponsored public concert and your choice of a Sierra Jazz Society T-shirt or Faculty CD.

Jazz Waltz Level Membership $200- Join now.
With this annual membership you will receive two complimentary tickets to any SJS sponsored public concert, a Sierra Jazz Society T-shirt, and a Faculty CD.

Swing Level Membership $500- Join now.
With this annual membership you will receive four complimentary tickets to any SJS sponsored public concert, a Sierra Jazz Society T-shirt, and a Faculty CD.

Bossa Level Membership $1500- Join now.
With this lifetime membership you can choose between a private concert in your home or an evening of Jazz history, both hosted by Bill Douglass. Each year, you will receive two complimentary tickets to any SJS sponsored public concert.

Improv Level Membership $2500- Join now.
With this lifetime membership you will receive a private concert in your home and an evening of Jazz history, both hosted by Bill Douglass. Each year, you will receive two complimentary tickets to any SJS sponsored public concert.

Groove Level Membership $5000 - Join now.
With this lifetime membership you will receive an evening of Jazz history and a private concert in your home that will be professionally recorded. In addition, you will have carte blanche admission to every Sierra Jazz Society sponsored concert for your lifetime. Seats will be held for you at every concert.

Is my membership in Sierra Jazz Society tax deductible?
Sierra Jazz Society is a registered, non-profit organization, as such, donations may be tax deductible. Please consult your tax professional for more informaiton about your deduction options.

How long will my membership in Sierra Jazz Society last?
There are two kinds of membership; annual and lifetime. Annual memberships begin on November 1st of one year and end on October 31st of the following year. If you join after April 1, your membership will expire on October 31st of the following year. If you join now, your membership is active through October of 2008. Lifetime memberships last for the lifetime of the person joining. Lifetime memberships are not transferable.

How do I use my complimentary tickets?
The complimentary tickets received as premiums for membership must be used within the membership year of issue. You can use them yourself or give them to a friend . However, the number of complimentary tickets redeemed at any given concert may be limited. To ensure using your complimentary ticket at a concert, be sure to
call and reserve a spot.

What kind of CD will I receive?
Bill has chosen tunes from the recordings of the Jazz Camp faculty members. You will receive a compilation CD of those selections. This CD sounds great and has wonderful music on it.

What kind of T-Shirt will I receive?
The T-Shirts are silk screened with the Sierra Jazz Society logo of the trumpet player against a night sky as seen at the top of this page. You can select the size you would like when you join
online. Currently, T-Shirts are only available as membership premiums.

What is meant by an evening of Jazz history?
Bill has an outstanding collection of Jazz videos and recording. For an evening of Jazz history, he will come to your home and play selected footage and recordings with fun and interesting commentary.

What is meant by a house concert?
Sierra Jazz Society arranges for Bill Douglass and friends to play at your home for 2 sets. Each set will last approximately an hour. All other hospitality such as seating and food must be arranged by yourself. The date and time of the concert will be negotiated based on Bill's availability.

What does it mean to have a house concert professionally recorded?
A professional sound engineer will provide and setup recording equipment for the house concert. They will record the concert, master it, and provide 2 copies for you packaged in a jewel case with a simple song list. The quality of the recording will depend on the conditions during the live concert. If you want clear a recording the ideal setup would be a quiet audience, indoors.
