FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Jazz Camp 2011 is our tenth year.
  • Jazz Camp is for all ages and levels. Instrumentalists must be able to play 5 scales well (C, F,Bb, G, and D). Vocalists must be able to match pitch and have several tunes from the jazz standards repertoire prepared (with the accompanying lead sheet) when camp begins. If you can’t meet these requirements, either practice a lot (!) or consider attending Junior Junior Camp.

  • Jazz Camp 2010 had participants ranging in age from 10-75 years old.
  • The Final Concert at Jazz Camp 2010 was very well attended, universally enjoyed and took place at River Highlands Ranch and Vineyard in Smartsville, 20 min from downtown Grass Valley. A beautiful, inspiring venue.
