Sierra Jazz Society Concert Series
April 20, May 18, June 15, all at 2 p.m. At Unitarian UUCM
Delight in the music of Sierra Jazz Society in three concerts this spring. Bill Douglass leads the faculty and selected students, offering good music and community spirit. The core faculty is Bill Douglass (bass), Nora Nausbaum (flute), John Girton (guitar), Kit Bailey (drums) and Al Bent (trombone). Special guests will be announced for the May and June concerts. Sit back and relish the music.
When: Saturdays - April 20, May 18, June 15
Time: 2 p.m.
Where: Unitarian Universalist Community of the Mountains 246 S. Church Street, Grass Valley. (map)
Admission: $20 and include coffee and cookies. Wine is available for purchase. UUCM is accessible for all. The chairs are the most comfortable in town and the acoustics are just right.
Under 18 Admission is FREE.

SIERRA JAZZ CAMP FUNDRAISER HOUSE CONCERT
An intimate afternoon of World Music, Brazilian and Originals
When: Sunday April 21 at 1-3 p.m.
Who: TROUBADOUR TROUBLE with Stephen Holland singing and playing guitar, Bill Douglass on bass, Kit Bailey on drums, and Gary Upton, sax. Troubadour Trouble plays world music, Brazilian and originals. Very tasty, splendidly enjoyable music.
