Jazz Extravaganza
Join Bill Douglass and a long list of local musicians for a
fabulous evening of jazz music. All are donating their talents
to raise money for the Jazz Camp Scholarship Fund. Performers
include Steve Holland, Erin Gailsduaghter, Nora Nausbaum,
Kit Bailey, Ty Smith, Motoshi Kosako, Gary Upton, Daryl van Druff,
Greg Perkins, Bob Claire, Al Bent, Joe Berry.

Workshops for Instrumentalists and Vocalists
Sierra Jazz Society director, Bill Douglass conducts ongoing workshops
for instrumentalist and vocalists. In this small group setting, participants
develop skills utilized in playing jazz; practicing long tones,
improvisation, listening. This is a great opportunity to prepare for
Jazz Camp or continue to build on your Jazz Camp experience.
Cost: $25 for a 2 hour workshop.

Miners Foundry
in Nevada City.

Jazz Camp Faculty Concert: Tuesday July 15, 7 pm
The Jazz Camp Faculty Concert is a kick off for Jazz Camp, which
begins the following morning at the Nevada City School of the Arts.
It allows the general public to enjoy the skill, accomplishment
and soul of our exquisite faculty in a
concert setting.
Jazz Camp Student Concert: Sunday, July 20, 3 pm
The Jazz Camp Student Concert is a showcase for the accomplishments
achieved during Jazz Camp by the students. It is a high quality, enjoyable
event.
